Job summary

Hotwire Communications in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks an IT Operations professional to monitor and maintain production networks, ensuring uptime and rapid incident response. You will collect performance data and generate incident tickets, troubleshoot level 2 issues, and coordinate with field technicians to repair circuits.

The role requires 4+ years in network or IT operations and experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Nagios.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Operations.
Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible work experience in network and/or server monitoring.
Experience with monitoring applications such as SolarWinds, Nagios.

Responsibilities

Collect performance statistics on the reliability and efficiency of networks.
Ensure incident tickets are generated for exceptions and managed for the lifetime of the incident.
Troubleshoots all level 2 incidents and escalates to higher level as needed.
Detect outages and remedies.
Monitor production network environment using monitoring tools to ensure availability.
Coordinate field router testing and repair of circuits.
Respond to automated alerts from monitoring tools according to procedure.
