Job summary

Hotwire Communications, LTD is seeking an experienced leader to direct Network Engineering and Regional Engineering teams in Fort Lauderdale. You will govern availability, performance, and security of core network infrastructure and drive automation and AI-assisted operations.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, budget ownership, outage RCA reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration with Architecture and Cyber Security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 10+ years service provider or large-scale network engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading multi-team or regionally distributed engineering teams.
• Deep hands-on expertise with BGP, IS-IS/OSPF, MPLS/SR‑MPLS, and multicast.
• Experience with carrier-class routing platforms (Cisco IOS‑XR) and carrier-grade NAT.
• Experience with IP address management at scale (subnet allocation, ARIN).
• Strong executive communication skills for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor Network Engineering and Regional Engineering teams with clear priorities.
• Ensure availability, performance, and security of all network infrastructure.
• Lead automation, observability, and AI-driven operating model initiatives.
• Oversee network capacity, site/market turn-ups, and project delivery.
• Provide executive-ready RCAs and track corrective actions for outages.
• Prepare department budget and drive DR/BC planning for high availability.
• Own IP address management and DHCP/CGNAT resource policies.
• Manage vendor relationships and change management processes.
