Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Registered Medication Associate to support residents at our Radford, VA community. The RMA will assist in medication administration, observe for adverse effects, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold high standards of infection control and resident confidentiality.

The role requires CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, weekend availability, and strong compassionate care aligned with our values.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Resident Care Associate.
• Maintain state certification with continuing education credits.
• Knowledge of safe medication administration techniques.
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain.
• Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring the Medication Management Program.
• Administer and accurately record medications as prescribed.
• Observe, document, and report adverse drug reactions.
• Store and inventory medications safely and accurately.
• Document vital signs and changes in the resident record.
• Maintain infection control practices and OSHA standards.
