Commonwealth Senior Living in Radford, VA is hiring a Registered Medication Associate (RMA) for full-time night shift (11pm–7am). The role focuses on safe medication administration, resident care, and maintaining strict confidentiality in a compassionate environment.

• Certification as a Resident Care Associate.
• Continuing education credits to maintain certification.
• Knowledge of safe medication administration techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and safe delivery of the Medication Management Program.
• Administer medications and accurately record administrations as prescribed.
• Present medications to residents and observe ingestion or other administration techniques.
• Document refusals and reasons for not administering meds.
• Monitor medications and maintain accountable records of orders, receipts and changes.
• Take vital signs as indicated during medication administration.
• Record and restock medication inventories and re-order from pharmacy as needed.
• Maintain infection control practices and universal precautions.
• Communicate clearly with residents and staff, seeking guidance when needed.
• Perform duties listed in the Resident Care Associate job description and support shift supervision when required.
