Qualifications

• Certification as a Resident Care Associate must be completed and maintained.
• RMA must obtain continuing education credits as required by the state.
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain as per policy.
• RMA must understand resident confidentiality.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Proficiency with basic office equipment and computer use.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monitoring and safe delivery of the Medication Management Program.
• Administers and records administration of medications as prescribed.
• Documents medication updates and changes in resident records.
• Maintains medication inventories and restocks as needed.
• Ensures safety and compliance with policies and state standards.
• Communicates with residents and staff accurately and professionally.
• Participates in required in-service training.
• Acts as shift supervisor when appropriate.
