Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED plus one of the following: Bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences or Child Development; prior group home/STRTP experience; lived experience in child welfare/mental health/JJ; 100 hours of youth-related experience; 21+ and able to pass exams and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain line-of-sight supervision focusing on behavior, safety, and well-being.
• Promote growth and development and help youth reach goals per treatment plan.
• Document behavioral problems, injuries, or accidents with complete reports.
• Use trauma-informed interventions to guide behavior and build self-control.
• Drive a vehicle and transport youth when necessary.
