Trinity Youth Services in Yucaipa, CA is hiring a Night Team Support Worker to supervise youth aged 13‑18 on the residential team. The role includes trauma‑informed support, behavior guidance, and ensuring safety during night shifts.

You will assist youth in achieving goals and maintaining a stable routines within the individualized treatment plan. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, and a valid California driver’s license.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; plus one or more of the following qualifications.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Child Development.
• One year of experience in a group home, STRTP, or substance abuse treatment program.
• Lived experience in child welfare, mental health, juvenile justice, or developmental disabilities system.
• Minimum 100 hours of relevant youth-work experience (mentor, coach, tutor, etc.).
• Must be 21+ years old, pass physical, drug clearance, and background checks.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean DMV history.

• Maintain line-of-sight supervision of youth, focusing on behavior, safety, and well‑being.
• Promote growth and development toward individualized treatment goals.
• Document behavioral problems, injuries, or accidents with reports.
• Use Trauma‑Informed interventions to redirect behavior and foster self‑control.
• Act as a positive role model and help youth overcome trauma effects.
• Drive a vehicle and transport youth when necessary.
