Trinity Youth Services is hiring a Recreation Team Support Worker in Yucaipa, CA. You will join the residential team to run recreation programs for foster youth aged 13–18, supervise field trips, and ensure safety and adherence to guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED plus relevant experience or a BA in the social sciences or child development. Valid CA driver’s license and English competency are essential; bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED at a minimum, plus one of: BA in Social Sciences or Child Development, prior experience in group homes/STRTP or substance abuse programs for at least 1 year, or lived experience in child welfare systems.
• Ability to develop an extensive recreation schedule and treatment plans.
• Must be 21+ and pass physical, drug clearance, background check, and Child Abuse Index.
• California driver’s license with clean DMV history and insurability.
• Interest in working with youth per California Admin Code Title 22.
• English communication skills required; Spanish/English bilingual a plus.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain a recreation program under the Recreation Supervisor.
• Supervise youth during off-grounds field trips.
• Provide structure to youth before departure and monitor dress code.
• Coordinate on-grounds activities to meet youth needs.
• Support youth in overcoming trauma and achieving goals.
• Serve as a positive role model to help youth succeed.
