Job summary

Trinity Youth Services in California is seeking an On-Call Team Support Worker to join our residential team and provide supervision to foster youth aged 13-18. You will support youth who have experienced trauma and help them gain skills to achieve their goals with hope for a brighter future.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly and concisely in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain line-of-sight supervision of youth, focusing on behavior, safety, and general well-being.
• Promote growth and development in the children and assist them in reaching goals in accordance with their individualized treatment plan.
• Document behavioral problems, injuries, or accidents and provide complete and accurate documentation and reports as assigned.
• Use trauma-informed interventions to redirect behavior and help each child develop self-control.
• Drive a vehicle and transport youth when necessary.

Skills

Lived experience in child welfare

Mentor/coach/tutor

Clear English communication

Driver's license & clean DMV history

Education

High school diploma or GED

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Child Development
