Job summary

Trinity Youth Services is seeking a Night Youth Care Worker to join our residential team in California. You will engage LTFC Children, support their development, participate in activities, and assist with case plans while ensuring a safe environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, valid California driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and health checks. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Clear and concise English communication (oral and written).
• Must be 21 years or older and able to pass background checks and health screening.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean DMV history and insurable by company.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe home for LTFC Children.
• Supervise children during duty shift.
• Complete documentation and crisis intervention.
• Safeguard campus and account for children present.
• Patrol campus areas and record on checklists.
• Document unusual occurrences on incident reports.
• Keep children in rooms after hours when required.
• Counsel youth and resolve crises.
• Document follow-up for day staff.
• Work with team to promote safe environment.
• Remain awake during shift and attend trainings.
• Drive a vehicle when necessary.
