Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a Yard Driver for night shifts to move tractor trailers to loading docks and park them securely. CDL-A is required, with DOT compliance and safety-focused duties; starting hourly pay is $24.60.

Responsibilities include safety checks, paperwork handling for offsite maintenance, and maintaining a safe, efficient dock area. 21+ and clean MVR are standard requirements; health benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A required and able to pass pre-employment checks.
• Experience with tractor trailers and DOT regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks including pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Move tractors/trailers to and from loading docks and designated parking areas.
• Secure cargo and complete all required paperwork for offsite maintenance.
• Report safety issues and maintain clean, organized dock areas.
• End-of-shift shutdown procedures and paperwork completion.
