Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Yard Driver for night shift operations in Hickory, NC. You will move tractor trailers to/from loading docks and park trailers in designated areas, working under DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 12+ months tractor trailer experience
• Valid CDL A license
• Must be 21 years of age
• Clean MVR in past 3 years
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Pass road test
• DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new one

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations
• Move trailers to/from loading docks and designated parking areas
• Handle and return paperwork related to offsite maintenance/inspection facilities
• Ensure tractors, trailers, and freight are secured at all times
• Perform general housekeeping in the tractor/loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean
• Secure equipment and complete necessary paperwork at shift end
• Perform other related duties as assigned
