Job summary

US Foods in Bridgeport, New Jersey is seeking a Night Warehouse Supervisor to lead the night shift, ensuring safe, accurate and timely selection and loading of outbound product while promoting a profitable operation.

You will develop leaders, oversee interview, hiring, discipline and retention, coordinate daily load plans, monitor inventory accuracy and safety metrics, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years experience in warehouse supervision.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: interpret data; OSHA, HACCP; strong leadership and communication; inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Develop Night Warehouse Supervisors through training on policy & procedures.
• Interview, hiring, review, discipline and termination for night warehouse personnel.
• Develops operation plan for daily loads and ensures trucks are completed within timelines.
• Monitor inventory losses, production goals and safety reports; propose changes to improve accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse facilities and equipment in compliance with OSHA requirements.
