Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Sr. Manager, Warehouse to lead a culture focused on people, safety, service, and cost. You will develop warehouse managers, ensure safe and accurate receiving and storage, and oversee outbound loading to meet customer needs.

The role requires five years of warehouse supervision experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with WMS and OSHA/HACCP knowledge. Travel around 10% is expected in a dynamic distribution environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of experience in warehouse supervision required.
Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

Responsibilities

Achieve all safety, service, and cost targets in the warehouse and lead a safety-first culture.
Oversee and develop Warehouse Managers through coaching and training.
Oversee and develop warehouse associates and drive engagement and retention.
Maintain effective communication and direct workforce for efficient workflow.
Build high-performing teams and manage staffing, performance, and discipline.
Identify process improvements and cost-reduction opportunities; ensure safe and accurate operations.
Approve daily load plans and ensure timelines and weight restrictions are met.
Monitor inventory losses, production goals, and safety reports and recommend changes to improve accuracy and satisfaction.
Ensure product integrity and compliance with food safety standards.
