Job summary

Allied Beverage Group in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a Night Shift Manager to lead distribution and warehouse operations. This role reports to the Operations Director and focuses on staffing, safety, and continuous improvement to meet daily goals and customer service standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in senior supervision within distribution warehouses and 7+ years in operations supervision, with a preference for warehouse automation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics management, mechanical engineering, or business management.
• 5+ years of senior supervision experience within a distribution warehouse.
• 7+ years of operations supervision experience.
• Preferred: warehouse automation experience.
• Functional understanding of WMS, MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Planning: identify staffing requirements for OSR and Returns and base decisions on experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Continuous Improvement: develop and execute SOPs and performance metrics with management to improve fill rate, throughput and cost.
• Build an inclusive culture with accountability, recognition, and development of frontline employees.
• Collaboration: partner with night/day ops, delivery, and maintenance to improve fill rate, throughput, and cost reduction.
• Safety: implement safety programs, provide instruction, report injuries, and ensure regulatory compliance.
