Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Night Warehouse Supervisor to ensure safe, accurate, and timely selection and loading of outbound product. You will lead and train Night Warehouse Supervisors, manage interviewing and performance processes, and coordinate daily load plans while ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulations.

This role oversees warehouse operations, monitors safety and accuracy metrics, and collaborates with Directors/VPs to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years experience in warehouse supervision.
• Able to interpret financial and operational data.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HAACP and other regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develops Night Warehouse Supervisors through training on policy & procedures and by assisting in problem resolution.
• Oversees interview, hiring, review, discipline and termination process for night warehouse personnel.
• Develops operation plan for daily loads; communicates plan with supervisors and ensures trucks are completed within timelines.
• Monitors operational data (inventory losses, production goals, safety reports); identifies problems and recommends changes to improve accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Oversees maintenance of warehouse and equipment per OSHA requirements.
• In Union facilities, assists in interpreting provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
