Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Manager, Warehouse to lead a safety‑driven, cost‑conscious warehouse team in a fast‑paced environment. You will oversee inbound/outbound activities, ensure accurate orders, and drive efficiency while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will coach and develop staff, manage performance, and partner with leadership to optimize workflows and staffing, all within a dynamic food-service distribution network in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution required.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset ensuring that every US Foods associate remains injury free.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and training; address performance gaps.
• Direct and supervise the work to ensure efficient workflow and timely shipments.
• Recruit and hire warehouse personnel, and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure accurate orders are staged and loaded for transport and shipping readiness.
• Monitor productivity and safety targets; provide coaching as needed.
• Maintain facility safety, sanitation, and equipment upkeep.
