Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a safety-first, cost-conscious operation, overseeing personnel, coaching associates, and ensuring accurate receiving, storage and loading of goods while maintaining high service levels.

We require 3+ years in warehouse distribution and 1+ year supervising staff, with strong leadership, communication and data interpretation skills; HACCP/OSHA familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to ensure injury-free associates and a safety-first culture.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and training.
• Direct and supervise the work to ensure efficient workflow and accurate orders.
• Lead hiring, performance reviews and corrective actions for shifts.
• Ensure orders are accurately staged and loaded for outbound shipments.
• Monitor productivity and safety metrics; coach to improve performance.
• Schedule shifts and manage inbound/outbound activities for the night operation.
• Maintain equipment safety and arrange repairs as needed.
