Responsibilities include developing SOPs for warehousing and transportation, maintaining equipment, reviewing productivity, and adjusting staffing to meet demand. A strong leader will drive morale and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
• 4–6 years of warehouse supervisory experience, including in-depth knowledge of all warehouse phases.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate processes and improve operation efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the warehouse operations team to ensure safety, productivity and efficiency.
• Communicate daily company information and motivate the team.
• Develop and monitor standard operating procedures for warehousing and transportation.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and serviced as needed.
• Monitor productivity and quality, and implement improvement plans.
• Assess volumes, customer base and product mix to determine staffing and equipment needs.
