Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks an experienced warehouse supervisor to direct shipping/receiving and ensure timely flow of product. You will lead staff, coordinate with transportation, and maintain safety and SOP compliance.

The role emphasizes strong supervision, inventory coordination, and proactive communication to keep operations efficient and customer-focused in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years warehouse and team lead or supervisory experience including in-depth knowledge of all warehouse
• Experience in warehouse operations and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff including staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Coordinate with Transportation Manager to maximize efficiency in the operation.
• Review stock status and coordinate with inventory staff to ensure adequate counts.
• Notify customers of stock shortages and communicate substitutions.
• Maintain adherence to SOPs and ensure department staff do the same.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
