Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an operations professional to supervise night warehouse activities, including order selection, replenishment, loading, and staff direction. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and accurate documentation for a busy food-service warehouse.

Responsibilities include labor scheduling, asset management, and collaboration with Safety and other departments to maintain compliance and productivity. Prior experience in warehouse supervision is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Powered Industrial Equipment Certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of employees in night shifts for warehouse operations.
• Manages labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepares work schedules and shifts as needed.
• Ensures proper use of company assets and facilities.
• Coordinates repairs with relevant departments.
• Monitors productivity and suggests efficiency improvements.
• Performs shipping/loading audits and maintains required documentation (HAACP, food safety, catch-weight).
• Assists with sanitation checks and training of new associates.
