Job summary

Peabody is seeking a Warehouse Clerk 1 for the Shoal Creek Mine in Oakman, Alabama, to join the warehouse team. The role involves data entry in the material system, receiving and issuing supplies, stocking, and preparing shipping documents.

The site offers a safety-focused culture and opportunities to work with inventory controls. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 1–3 years of warehouse experience in mining.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in warehouse operations at a mining operation preferred.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license.
• ATF explosives possession clearance is required or achievable.
• Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors or Kronos is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter requisitions for purchasing items for the warehouse.
• Post goods receipts for material that has been delivered.
• Safely operate forklifts and mobile equipment.
• Maintain an organized, clean warehouse and inventory controls.
• Prepare shipping documents and coordinate with vendors.
