Job summary

Peabody Energy is seeking a Warehouse Clerk for the Shoal Creek Mine in Oakman, Alabama. The role involves daily data entry, inventory control, requisition processing, and shipping documentation.

You will operate forklifts and coordinate with vendors and supervisors, while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment. The position requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and 1–3 years of warehouse experience in a mining operation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with warehouse operations preferred.
• Familiarity with MSHA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic data entry and warehousing functions including processing, receiving, issuing supplies, stocking, inventory controls, loading/unloading, and preparing shipping documents.
• Enter requisitions for purchasing items for the warehouse.
• Post goods receipts for materials delivered.
• Safely operate forklifts and mobile equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and prepare items for shipment or repair.
