Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a store leadership professional to plan, direct, and supervise daily operations across departments. You will mentor teammates, drive customer service excellence, and ensure sales targets and shrink control align with company standards.

Responsibilities include staffing, development planning, and discipline processing, with a focus on safety and reliable attendance. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills and a commitment to Meijer’s inclusive

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2-3 years of related retail experience.
One year of management experience.
Rotational assignments in other store areas and customer service experience are helpful.
Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

Staff, select, and hire to meet staffing needs.
Plan succession and development paths for team members.
Document disciplinary actions and make recommendations on retention or discharge.
Oversee P&L, achieve sales targets, and manage shrink.
Provide exceptional, fast, and friendly customer service.
Ensure team training and adherence to Meijer standards.
