Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Retail Team Member to assist with scheduling and supervising the Stock Crew, ensuring smooth daily department operations and compelling displays. You will support Team Leaders, ensure excellent store presentation, and uphold health, safety, and company SOPs while delivering courteous service to customers and team members.

Responsibilities include supervising tasks, training, inventory processes, and fostering a high-morale, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Supervise and delegate tasks for the Stock Crew.
• Support team leaders and order writers to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain positive image through courteous, friendly service.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Effectively supervises and delegates tasks based on the needs of the department.
• Works with leadership to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Responds to customer and Team Member needs and concerns.
• Assists in sorting and stocking processes for at least 75% of the scheduled shift.
• Assists in training as delegated by Team Leader using training materials.
• Maintains a positive work environment with high morale.
• Completes inventory, spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Tracks productivity of the stocking crew using the case count tracker.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters teamwork, mutual respect, and morale.
• Responds to customer flows and directs Team Members accordingly.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
