Nordstrom in Dubuque, IA is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a warehouse team and drive the execution of safety, quality, and performance objectives. This role requires coaching, performance management, and budget stewardship aligned with the business strategy.

The successful candidate will manage a ~20-person team across recruiting, onboarding, training, and development, while identifying continuous improvement opportunities and delivering measurable results through KPI tracking and 4DX

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse experience in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to identify and implement CI actions delivering cost, service, and quality improvements.
• Experience developing others and growing leadership competencies in direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Ability to analyze data and drive actions from improvement opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support business strategy and drive results for safety, quality, and performance.
• Lead, develop, and grow a team of about 20 employees.
• Recruit, select, onboarding, and training resources.
• Coach and evaluate warehouse associates to improve performance.
• Engage in professional development through workshops and networking.
• Own process improvements through problem solving and project management.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, variances, and corrective actions.
• Drive KPI metrics and facility scorecards including 4DX.
