Job summary

NFI Industries seeks an Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, supervise staff, and drive productivity toward daily goals in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and safety program knowledge. You will manage inbound/outbound shipments, coordinate equipment use, and provide coaching to staff for performance improvements. Shift includes evenings and potential travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 1–5 years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Willingness to travel to other warehouses as needed.
• Experience with performance metrics and Lean/Six Sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements shipping and receiving work schedules and assignments to meet goals.
• Direct supervision of warehouse personnel matching skills to work.
• Supervises inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensures efficient use of equipment and coordinates maintenance.
• Drafts and submits daily end-of-shift reports.
• Provides coaching and feedback to enhance performance and skill development.
• Travel to other warehouses and participate in meetings as necessary.
• Support safety programs and OSHA compliance.
