Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead to coordinate daily warehouse activities on third shift. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor and involves directing work, supervising processes, and ensuring safety and efficiency in receiving, put away, picking, and loading activities.

The ideal candidate has prior fast-paced warehouse experience, familiarity with WMS, and strong data entry and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Good visual acuity to inspect shipments.
• Ability to input data to create daily inventory reports.
• Accuracy in recordkeeping, sorting, counting and verifying received items.
• Strong time management, organizational and self-motivation skills.
• MHE experience or willingness to learn MHE.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with shift leadership to achieve shift goals.
• Oversee and coordinate warehouse processes: receiving, put away, picking, and loading.
• Direct work assignments to employees.
• Provide daily hands-on support in Material Handling and forklift duties.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
• Suggest process improvements to supervisor.
• Communicate with internal and external partners both orally and in writing.
• Identify and help solve problems related to operations.
