Qualus is seeking a Dispatcher for its Specialized Field Services in the United States. The role supports on-site, 24-hour control and monitoring of utilities across electric, water, and gas systems.

Work schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00pm to 7:00am, with responsibilities spanning emergency responses, switching operations, and coordination with field personnel. The candidate must have industrial/utility experience, knowledge of electrical systems, and strong communication skills, with

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or utility operations.
• Experience and/or knowledge in electromechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of meter reading and electrical equipment.
• Electrical knowledge in operating electrical disconnects and breakers; monitor voltage levels and substations.
• Detail oriented; strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Safety-focused with hazard awareness.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and perform physical tasks for most of shift.

Responsabilités

• Manage and maintain safe, reliable operation of generation, transmission, water, and gas systems.
• Oversee continuity of critical utilities, ensuring economical, reliable operations
• Coordinate emergencies and responses with field personnel
• Interface with customers and field staff to plan and schedule switching
• Survey facilities and inspect substations, pumps, and retention areas
• Operate equipment and control systems to maintain exchange schedules when required
• Plan switching procedures to bring lines and equipment in or out of service
• Maintain records of orders and reports from field personnel
• Adhere to regulations and internal standards; ensure compliance
