Job summary

SolveNow Inc. is seeking a skilled Utility Plant Operator for the night shift to operate and maintain a central utility plant, perform preventive maintenance, monitor systems, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with water/wastewater or utility plants, a valid driveror license, and strong communication. Training on CMMS, PLCs and SCADA is provided to support plant performance and safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Three years of experience in operating water/wastewater treatment plants or utility plants.
Ability to demonstrate independent decision-making and judgment in the performance of all duties.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Possess a valid driver9;s license.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses operating problems; directs and performs corrective action during work shift.
Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure the integrity of the utility distribution and treatment systems.
Reads gauges and meters; starts/stops equipment; controls flow and sets chemical dosage and flow rates.
Monitors CMMS and provides required documentation; maintains records.
Collects samples and performs routine laboratory tests and analyses on water and wastewater.
Attends safety and process control trainings; supports operational decisions in supervisionree absence.
