Job summary

SolveNow Inc. is seeking a skilled Utility Plant Operator for the night shift to operate and maintain a central utility plant, perform preventive maintenance, monitor systems, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with water/wastewater or utility plants, a valid driveror license, and strong communication. Training on CMMS, PLCs and SCADA is provided to support plant performance and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of experience in operating water/wastewater treatment plants or utility plants.
• Ability to demonstrate independent decision-making and judgment in the performance of all duties.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess a valid driver9;s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses operating problems; directs and performs corrective action during work shift.
• Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure the integrity of the utility distribution and treatment systems.
• Reads gauges and meters; starts/stops equipment; controls flow and sets chemical dosage and flow rates.
• Monitors CMMS and provides required documentation; maintains records.
• Collects samples and performs routine laboratory tests and analyses on water and wastewater.
• Attends safety and process control trainings; supports operational decisions in supervisionree absence.
