Job summary

Qualus Corporation is seeking a Dispatcher in our Specialized Field Services division. You will support on-site, 24/7 control and monitoring of electric, water and other utility systems within a large industrial complex. The role requires weekend night shifts (Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00pm to 7:00am).

Responsibilities include ensuring safe operation, coordinating equipment switching, and communicating with field staff. A background in utilities and strong Excel/Word skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or utility operations.
• Knowledge of electromechanical equipment.
• Meter reading and electrical equipment knowledge.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, reliable operation of electric, water and gas systems.
• Oversee continuity of critical utilities and safe operating conditions.
• Coordinate emergency responses and interface with field personnel.
• Survey facilities and inspect substations, pumps houses, retention pounds.
• Plan and schedule switching procedures and maintain operational records.
• Ensure compliance with instructions, standards and regulations.
