Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced RN for night shift weekends to provide expert care in a small-format hospital setting. The role focuses on high-acuity inpatient care, with emphasis on cardiac monitoring, infusion management, and rapid response to changing conditions.

The ideal candidate will have Telemetry/ICU experience, be proficient with BiPAP and high-flow oxygen, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and timely transfers when needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years in related healthcare positions.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; PALS strongly preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken form.
• PA RN clearance requirements referenced in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient nursing care with advanced specialty knowledge for safety and comfort.
• Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and COLA/CLIA regulations.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures; assist others as needed.
• Handle care per legal, hospital policies and established nursing standards.
