Job summary

International Motors in San Antonio, TX is expanding night-shift production and seeks a Lead Recruiter to launch and scale hiring for the second shift beginning in Q1 2027. In this role you will partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to design staffing, screening, and offer strategies, build pipelines for manufacturing roles, and ensure compliant, timely hiring across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or higher and relevant HR experience.
• Master's degree with 1+ year HR experience acceptable.
• At least 5 years of HR experience overall is preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States w/o visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to document requirements and timelines.
• Develop staffing programs to support ramp-up and ongoing needs.
• Determine sources and execute advertising, posting and outreach strategies.
• Build talent networks and repeatable recruiting processes.
• Represent the company professionally with candidates and partners.
• Source and pre-screen candidates and document evaluations.
• Coordinate interviews and disposition activities per company standards.
• Support hiring managers with offers and compensation in partnership with HR.
• Coordinate background checks and pre-employment requirements.
• Manage relationships with recruiting agencies and boards.
• Track recruiting activity and analyze source effectiveness.
• Support college recruiting and workforce outreach programs.
• Assist immigration processes when required.
• Work independently with minimal guidance and inform stakeholders of risks.
