Job summary

TRATON SE, including the International brand in South San Antonio, seeks an Associate HR Manager to partner with the Plant HR Manager and leadership. The role drives employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness during the Second Shift launch of the 3 million-square-foot facility that produces Class 6–8 trucks.

You will support onboarding, training alignment, staffing, communications, and change management as the operation transitions to the 2nd Shift in 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 4+ years of HR experience
• Master's degree plus 2+ years HR experience, or 6+ years HR experience
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant HR Manager and leadership to guide employee relations and workforce planning
• Support 2nd Shift launch workstreams: staffing, onboarding, training alignment, and communications
• Transition from 1st Shift during training to dedicated 2nd Shift HR support for ramp and stabilization
• Lead complex employee relations matters including investigations and disciplinary actions
• Analyze workforce metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to improve engagement and retention
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support staffing and ramp-up activities
• Deliver HR reports, dashboards, and people analytics to leadership
