Job summary

Navistar, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to partner with Plant HR leadership on the 2nd shift for a large manufacturing facility in South San Antonio.

The role leads employee relations, workforce planning, and HR programs to support a 1,100-employee ramp and the successful startup of the second shift. On-site collaboration with operations drives engagement and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of human resources or labor experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Lead experience of 1 year or more is required.
• Experience supporting shift launches and high-volume hiring is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant HR Manager and leadership team on employee relations, workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
• Support the 2nd Shift launch with staffing, onboarding, training alignment and change management.
• Transition from 1st Shift to 2nd Shift and establish plant partnerships for ongoing HR support.
• Coach leaders and manage complex employee relations matters with proper documentation.
