Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey seeks a reliable Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at our travel plaza locations. You will supervise team members, ensure brand standards, handle cash, and maintain food-safety procedures.

You will train new hires, manage opening/closing procedures, assist with customer service, and resolve issues promptly to keep travelers satisfied. Flexible schedules support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with travelers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Train new team members and monitor for compliance with brand standards.
