Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a Shuttle Driver for the night shift (Sun–Sat, 1 day off) to transport trailers between operating locations and domicile/shuttle yards. You will perform safety checks, load/unload duties, and ensure timely deliveries in accordance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include driving tractor/trailer combinations, maintaining daily logs, and upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect and prepare tractor/trailer for safe operation.
• Drive and deliver trailers on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Turn around and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs and required paperwork.
