Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, seeks a Scheduling Coordinator in West Palm Beach to coordinate staff visits on a Thursday–Saturday 8pm–8:30am schedule (36 hours). The role focuses on staffing RNs, CNAs, LPNs, social workers, integrative therapists, and chaplains in line with each patient’s plan of care.

You’ll maintain weekend/holiday schedules, relay communications with physicians and families, ensure accurate visit assignments for payroll and billing, and support

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in medical/clinical setting preferred.
• AA or AS degree preferred.
• Scheduling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Windows, MS Office) and willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and scheduling for safe, effective patient care.
• Optimally schedule RNs, CNAs, LPNs, social workers, therapists, and chaplains.
• Maintain weekend/holiday and On-Call RN schedules; manage daily assignments.
• Relay communications from patients, physicians, and caregivers to clinicians.
• Assign and verify visits for payroll and billing accuracy.
• Foster interdepartmental coordination and protect patient confidentiality.
