Job summary

The Visiting Nurse Association of the Treasure Coast is seeking an experienced scheduler/office support person to manage staffing for the interdisciplinary hospice team. This role includes clerical duties, data entry, and serving as the first point of contact for patients, families and staff.

Under supervision, you will triage calls, coordinate with pharmacies and DMEs, input demographics in HCHB, schedule admissions, and support clinical staff with scheduling reports and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• License in Practical Nursing (LPN) is required.
• Minimum of one year related experience or training.
• Proficiency with scheduling and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains staffing schedules for the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Triage calls from staff, patients, families, and physician offices.
• Coordinate with contracted pharmacy and DME for patient care.
• Enter demographic information in HCHB and schedule admissions.
• Provide office support and act as first contact for inquiries.
• Prepare monthly calendars and staffing reports as needed.
