Job summary

International Motors seeks a Senior Safety Consultant to drive a strong safety culture on the production floor and across shifts in a growing manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes proactive risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and hands-on leadership with operations leadership and engineering.

The ideal candidate is proactive, capable of working independently, and willing to support a night shift and extended hours to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience applying OSHA requirements and state regulations.
• Ability to conduct JHAs/JSA and risk assessments.
• Proven track record in safety program development and training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine floor inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments.
• Identify unsafe conditions and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support OSHA compliance and applicable safety requirements.
• Develop and deliver safety training and toolbox talks.
• Support LOTO, machine guarding, PPE, and emergency programs.
• Conduct JHAs/JSA and risk assessments for processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering during equipment installation and start-up.
• Maintain safety documents, inspection records, and metrics.
• Coach supervisors on safe work practices and accountability.
