Job summary

International Motors USA is seeking a Safety Engineer to foster a strong safety culture on the production floor and support a growing second-shift operation. The role emphasizes proactive risk reduction, incident investigations, and training delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in safety or engineering and have 3–5+ years of manufacturing safety experience, with solid knowledge of OSHA requirements and LOTO/machine guarding expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, industrial, automotive, warehousing, or start-up environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry (29 CFR 1910) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine floor inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments.
• Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements.
• Develop and deliver safety training and toolbox talks.
