Job summary

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at Dallas Center United Methodist in Plano, Texas, provides a range of respiratory therapy and diagnostic procedures including ABG, PFTs, and ventilator support. You will work under indirect supervision of the medical director and care for patients of all ages, from neonates to adults.

The ideal candidate is licensed in Texas, registered with NBRC, and has 6 months of experience preferred; new grads encouraged.

Qualifications

• Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• Registered by the NBRC (RRT) requirement.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience preferred, new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform ABG, PFTs, and various ventilator support and aerosol therapies.
• Proficient in respiratory assessment and treatment for adults and neonates under indirect supervision.
• Interpret CXRs, ABG, and PFT data and document findings in patient records.
• Assemble, operate, and troubleshoot CPRE equipment including ventilators and gas delivery systems.
• Maintain infection control, safety and quality assurance practices and ensure equipment cleanliness.
