Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist at Atrium Health Cabarrus - Respiratory Therapy Services. This full-time night position (7p-7a) offers a 36-hour work week and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• RRT certification by NBRC is required.
• Current state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner/RT.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• Advanced certification per facility/department.
• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain oxygen delivery systems and related equipment.
• Administer therapeutic procedures and monitor patient response.
• Perform diagnostic procedures as per policy.
• Initiate and manage mechanical and non-invasive ventilation.
• Evaluate therapies and recommend care plans and patient education.
