Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required/NBRC.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the practicing state.
• BLS for healthcare providers required (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Administers diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as per policy.
• Operates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
• Evaluates and adjusts therapy with appropriate clinical judgment.
• Documents therapy and results for the health record and team.
• Communicates with healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Performs blood sampling analysis and interprets results.
• Works across patient care areas and uses EMR effectively.
• Follows safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
