Job summary

International Motors Manufacturing in San Antonio is launching a new night production shift (Mon–Thu, 5:30 PM–4:00 AM) with a salary role and potential extended hours. You will own the plant controls, triage alarms, and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and operations to restore throughput.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation platforms, Ignition SCADA, and industrial networking, plus a track record of leading automation teams in high-volume environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation platforms.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA, PLCs, and automation networking.
• Proven ability to lead maintenance and engineering teams on live production lines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex automation disruptions.
• Deliver rapid response and root-cause analysis for controls, electrical, network, robotics, and system issues.
• Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and operations to resolve failures and process abnormalities.
• Drive downtime to a minimum through disciplined diagnostics and corrective actions.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA, and HMI interfaces.
• Support AGV/AMR deployments and factory infrastructure.
• Lead modernization and upgrade projects across automation assets.
• Standardize architectures, coding practices, and SCADA/HMI development.
• Act as senior technical resource for night shift maintenance and operations.
• Coach engineers, electricians, and technicians; create training content.
