Job summary

Corewell Health Reed City Hospital is seeking a Hospital Supervisor to coordinate and deliver clinical services on a night shift, ensuring safe care and proper staffing. This role requires leadership of nursing staff and effective communication with patients, families, and administrators.

The position is part-time, 24 hours weekly, with a night schedule (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) and variable days, every other weekend.

Qualifications

• BSN must be obtained within 4 years for those starting on/after Feb 1, 2017; 5 years for those starting before Jan 31, 2017.
• Master's Degree (MS, MSN, MBS, MM, MHA, MPH) preferred.
• 2 years of relevant clinical nursing experience required.
• 2 years of recent leadership experience preferred.
• MI RN License required.
• AHA/BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP required within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver clinical services on assigned shift.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and problem solving; maintain safe environment and adherence to policies.
• Provide supervision and leadership to hospital staff in collaboration with leaders.
• Communicate with patients and families to promote positive relations and address concerns.
• Support quality care and efficient use of resources.
