Job summary

Memorial Health System - Ohio is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to provide leadership for the night shift and day shift coverage. You will supervise clinical staff, participate in hiring, orientation, and staff development, and ensure patient care aligns with hospital policies and staffing models.

The role includes coordinating scheduling, participating in performance evaluations, and serving as a resource during crises or weekend coverage while maintaining Meditech documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Ohio RN licensure (or WV licensure if practicing in WV).
• BLS required.
• ACLS within 1 year of employment.
• ASLS certification preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and participate in leadership meetings.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring processes.
• Coordinate new employee orientation and on‑the‑job training.
• Schedule and manage staffing, including crisis staffing during high demand.
• Lead nurse leader rounding and ensure compliance with policies.
• Document performance evaluations with oversight.
• Provide patient care leadership and ensure quality care within acuity/staffing matrix.
