Job summary

Mercy Southeast (Cape Girardeau) and surrounding communities seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Regional Float Pool. You will rotate across hospitals, providing bedside care, assessments and interventions for adult/geriatric patients on night shifts.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, RN license in the state or compact licensure, and 1–2 years of bedside RN experience depending on specialty. BSN preferred and Epic experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure requirements.
• One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med/Surg; two years for ICU/other specialties.
• BSN preferred; Epic experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care.
• Float across multiple Mercy hospitals within the regional footprint.
• Provide high-quality patient care during night shifts and adapt to diverse units.
