Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Regional Float Pool. This part-time night position (24 hours/week) supports Mercy St. Louis and surrounding communities by floating across Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown and ICU units.

You will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to seamless transitions across facilities in the St. Louis region.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• One year of bedside RN experience for Med/Surg; ICU/other areas require 2+ years.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and, for Women's Health, BLS & NRP.
• Must be able to stand/walk and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple hospital units (Med/Surg, Tele, Stepdown, ICU).
• Assess patient conditions, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with diverse care teams to ensure quality patient care.
