Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Regional Float Pool. You will assess and plan individualized care for adult/geriatric patients, working across multiple units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown and ICU during night shifts. A BSN is preferred and BLS/ACLS as applicable, with Epic experience helpful.

Expect a sign-on bonus of $10,000 with regional float pool perks, shift differentials, and a day-one benefits package. Regional facilities include Mercy St.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• RN license in hiring state with compact licensure eligibility.
• One year RN bedside experience for Med/Surg; two years for ICU/other specialties.
• BLS certification required; CC/BLS for Critical Care; ACLS.
• Able to stand/walk most of duty with bending and lifting.
• Excellent critical thinking and collaboration with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
• Float across units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU.
• Work nights as part of the Regional Float Pool.
